It looks good, but with 171k miles $8,000 seems like a lot for what I'm seeing others go for around here (DC area). It's probably worth around $6,500-$7,000 depending on how clean it is. Such a nice car though for the money.

Watch out for craigslist scammers, only take cash or a bank check that can be verified by your bank with you and the buyer physically at the bank.

It is priced a bit above NADA, I'll admit.
But it's also had all of it's maintenance kept up religiously having my father's mechanic shop at my disposal. Also, I pretty meticulous about cleanliness on my cars, which I think counts for a bit.
Compared to the WRX I sold for $11k, there's a lot more car for the money.
But, thanks for the kind words.

Oh, I'm fully aware. It's far from my first Craigslist rodeo.
I don't hand over the title until money's in my hand or verified in my account.

Good just making sure, I hate to see anybody get scammed.

Ah, you should mention the regular maintenance at a respected shop in addition to the parts you listed.

The shop deals most in full-restorations (muscle cars and etc.) rather than regular car repair, so it won't be well known to the people. We don't run commercials or anything.
I figured I'd tell them if they called or asked.

That would make a nice ride for another fanatic - good luck to you!

Heh. You're literally down the street from me. Okay not literally, but basically.
I have a friend who has lusted over BMWs for a while, I sent him a link. Doubt he'll bite, but I'll see what I can do to convince him.

ALWAYS price it high on craigslist, if you've got time to wait someone might just pay it, you never know :)

looks like a good ad, couple of notes:
I like the quantity and quality of pics, always helps. Looks like you have a license plate visible of your other car, probably not a big deal but whatever
looks like the back seats could use some conditioner? Might be worth giving them a rub for quicker sale?
I always include the VIN, or a carfax when I sell a car, usually you end up with well informed people coming to look.
Good luck

The back seats are a little dry or faded. There's no tears or anything, just losing a little colour.
I tried some Black Magic Leather Care on it but it didn't really do anything.
